Would you rather…

Be the first to vote on this one.

Questions about memory, time, love, regret and what makes a life good. There are no silly answers here, just choices that tell you something about the person making them.

How to use deep questions

Save these for small groups and slow conversations: a late night with close friends, a long drive, a first date that is going well. Ask one, then ask "why?" twice. The second answer is usually the honest one.

They also work as journaling prompts. Pick a question, write your answer, and come back to it in a year to see if it changed. The vote split on each question shows how other people weighed the same choice.
